A Few Fun Facts About Me

What My Work Means TO ME: The first thing I would like for you to know about me is I am Grateful, Thankful & Blessed beyond all measures! Photography is my passion- a way to seize beautiful moments and transform them into cherished memories that last a lifetime. I believe each session should be a unique reflection of the families and couples I work with. My mission is to create an enjoyable and comfortable experience, ensuring that every moment is not just captured but celebrated. Let's make unforgettable memories together.!

Home Life: I am a boy mom of 3 amazing young men. I also have the cutest fur babies ever! I was born in Baytown/Mont Belvieu, Tx and grew up here, moved up North then to the West Coast and back again. I traveled around the country and then back home to watch these boys grow up. I can say I am blessed with an amazing family and they are the light of my day.

All Time Faves: A couple of my favorite things are Jesus, my family, food, art & music. My favorite music would have to be Country, Classic Rock and 90's RnB Hip Hop (but I love all music), my drink is definitely lemonade or Dr. Pepper, and my favorite food will always be tacos & pizza. Christmas will be my forever holiday!

How I Live Life: I wake up every day thanking our good Lord Jesus Christ for giving me another day. I strive my hardest to make it my best day yet. I try to bring out the best in anything I do. Go big or go home, don't just sit on the porch. Life is way too short to not chase your dreams. Set goals and never lose sight of that dream. They never come true without hard work and dedication! Always believe in yourself and stay positive.

How I Got Started...

People often wonder why I became a photographer. Well, let me tell you I have always loved taking pictures. I have always had a camera in my hand, through the years it became an electronic device, snapping here, snapping there, it all started in high school in Journalism. Then one Mother's Day a few years back my kids bought me my first digital camera. I wanted to take pictures of everything. They were getting a little tired of the "picture overload". So I started taking pictures of friends and family. Then I never stopped!

I have not always been a photographer. Before I started my career in photography I was in Interior Design and Marketing. Wondering how or why I went from one extreme to the other. I enjoyed being able to help clients build their forever homes and making the little touches to make them perfect. But then, it all changed for me one day. One of the ladies in the office was getting married at the JP. I thought what a better gift to give than to photograph her special day. She would always be able to look back on it. After they said "I Do" we went to the local park and were snapping, spinning, and smiling from ear to ear. Shortly after her big day, I emailed her fully edited images. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful they turned out. It's the day that little girls always dream of, their wedding day. So the ladies at the office asked me why I was not doing this as a profession and just a hobby. I thought about it for a while and then decided why not, what's to lose? It took a few days of brainstorming to come up with a unique name that fits me. It was then Southern Flawless Moments was born!
